Reading room
A quiet place to read
In this library, a reading room is simply any corner — a chair, a window, a table — where a book gets full attention.

Every desk grows its own vocabulary. Nicole Junkerman keeps a short glossary so the words used across the reading, travel and writing pages stay clear and consistent.
Entries are kept plain on purpose — a sentence or two, in everyday language, with nothing to puzzle over.

Travel note
A travel note is a short record of somewhere visited: a detail, a route, and the reason it stayed in mind.
Working note
A working note is an unfinished line kept on purpose, ready to be picked up and used another day.
In plain words
A glossary should make things easier, not heavier. Nicole Junkerman writes each entry the way it might be explained to a friend across the table — short, warm and free of jargon. As the library grows, the list grows with it, always staying simple enough to read at a glance.
A good definition is one a friend could repeat without looking it up.
